The backstory entries done here represent the time before Azrael actually became a PC in our D&D game – I’ve written them third-person, which was an easier method at the time since he hadn’t “lived” through the experiences described. I may go back at some point and re-tailor them to be similar to the journals, but that’s probably not going to happen.
